For over 20 years, we have specialized in manufacturing an ever-growing variety of Restraints & Safety equipment. Our products are designed to accommodate a broad scope of needs, from those of slightly aggressive to highly agitated clients who may present a risk to themselves or others. Our restraints keep those affected safe, allowing medical personnel to provide care. Our most popular item is the Stryker Stretcher Strap Kit, a product developed in collaboration with Ambulance Victoria that has been optimized to fit a wide range of requirements from hospitals and security staff. From detachable, quick release, immobilizing, and mechanical options, we have the equipment to meet all needs. If our current inventory does not provide a satisfactory solution, our in-house design and development team can adjust, adapt, and modify products to your specifications.
Simple to Set up
Home Use of Restraint and Positioning Devices
For the safety of patients and carers, restraint and positioning devices supplied for home use may require clinical authorisation before an order is processed.
For home use, authorisation from an appropriate healthcare professional is required to confirm the product can be used safely and correctly by the user, family members, and carers. Suitable signatories include an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, registered nurse, clinical nurse , doctor, or another qualified professional.
Please download and complete the authorisation form, then submit it to health.sales@hemco.com.au.
This authorisation is not required for hospitals, aged care facilities, or other healthcare settings, as staff are already trained in the safe use of restraint equipment.
Orders for home use will be reviewed before supply to help ensure the selected product is appropriate and that safe-use requirements have been considered.
Please note: Improper selection, fitting, or use of a restraint or positioning device may result in serious injury. Less restrictive alternatives should always be considered before the use of a restraint device.
