Mercy Health Mental Health Unit Restraint Set is a Modified Stryker Stretcher Strap Kit.
Modified to the changes Mercy Health required as they were confident the Stryker set had all the elements they required. On in house visitations in conjunction with the staff at Mercy Hospital changes were made in order for the kit to meet all of their requirements.
Original tether straps were swapped out for the new quick release Cam Buckle tether straps. Colors were chosen specifically to suit the area in which they were to be used. The wrist anchor cuff was extended and made longer to suit the beds and trollies they were to be fitted to. The Ankle cuff anchor was then modified to have a quick system of attachment using an under-stretcher strap that threaded through two metal “D” rings. The kit comes in individual bags for identification and is contained in one grey denier zipper bag for convenient storage. Individual components can be purchased separately using the codes below.
