Melbourne Health Restraint Set Intensive Care Unit is made in conjunction with the team from Melbourne Health. Special attention was given to the needs of those who may be in intensive care. While much of the set such as the ankle cuff anchor and tether straps provide safe and secure feature. The wrist cuffs unlike many are made from a softer Lycra fabric and not neoprene. This is still a highly durable fabric but is gentler on tender skin should they be required. The set consists of One Ankle cuff anchor that attaches to the base of the bed with tether straps and “D” rings, two Tether straps that anchor to the bed or trolley and two Wrist cuffs that are attached to the client and connected to the tether straps. The uniqueness of this product is the Cam buckle tether straps making this a rapid attach and release unit. Kit comes complete in a labelled yellow denier drawstring bag with a mechanical key.
