Wrist Restraint Cuffs

The wrist restraint cuffs are constructed from soft yet durable neoprene and are secured around the patient’s wrists using a robust 50mm hook-and-loop Velcro closure. Each cuff incorporates a lime-colored tether strap that passes through a reinforced D-ring and slide assembly, allowing controlled tightening and secure restraint when required.

Waist Belt Restraint

The medical restraint waist belt is designed to fit comfortably around the patient’s torso and is secured using heavy-duty 50mm webbing and a side-release buckle. The belt provides the central attachment point for upper-body restraint, ensuring controlled positioning while allowing medical staff to safely administer treatment.

Ankle Restraint Cuffs and Stretcher Strap

The ankle cuffs are fitted in the same manner as the wrist cuffs, providing secure lower-limb restraint when clinically required. A dedicated ankle stretcher strap attaches to the foot of the stretcher or bed, helping minimize unwanted leg movement and enhancing patient stability during transport.

Under-Stretcher Restraint System

For additional patient security, the under-stretcher strap is threaded beneath the bed, trolley, or stretcher and connected directly to the waist belt. Once tightened, this strap significantly reduces upward, lateral, and rotational movement, providing a higher level of patient control during transport and clinical intervention.

Safe and Effective Patient Management

Once positioned on a stretcher, trolley, or hospital bed, the patient’s wrist cuffs are connected to the waist belt, while the ankle restraints are secured to the ankle stretcher strap. This configuration creates a comprehensive restraint solution that assists healthcare professionals in safely managing patients who may present a risk to themselves, staff, carers, or the public.
