The Hemco Health Division Patient Protective Mitten Restraint Large and Small are very popular for their aesthetic appearance. This mitten aides’ clients that maybe confused and disorientated or attempting to pull out or remove their IV lines. Unlike the standard mitten that still allows a client free movement this design has some milder security due to the Velcro straps that attach to the bed / trolley. Made of a thick but soft white Lycra it is then padded and layered with an open weave mesh for visibility. All attachments are with the use of strong Velcro but ensures it is also quick release if required.
