Melbourne Health Pediatric Restraint Set is a modified restraint set to accommodate the environment in which they are used.

The purpose of the restraint is to enable medical treatment where the client may be highly agitated and poses a risk to themselves or others.

This kit enables safe medical treatment for the client and the staff.

The set consists of two smaller wrist cuffs measuring 22cm in length and 5cm in width.

Wrist tether straps with the new Cam Buckle make it very fast and efficient in attaching to anchor points on the bed, trolley or stretcher and just as efficient for quick release. The tether is also equipped with a tapper proof buckle, so a mechanical key is required to release them.

The leg immobilizer attaches with two “D” rings that also attach to the anchor points of a bed, trolley or stretcher.

The wrist cuffs secure around the wrist with 50mm hook and loop Velcro. The tether strap and thread through two “D” rings and also stays in place with 20mm hook and loop Velcro. The tether straps are attached to the cuff and thread through the Cam Buckle for a secure fit.  The immobilizer is placed at the foot of the bed and attached to the anchor points. Once the client is in position the ankle cuffs are attached by wrapping around the ankle. Hook and loop Velcro secure it while the tether strap is threaded through the two “D” rings for a strong hold.

The kit is supplied in a yellow Denier drawstring bag with a Mechanical Key attached. Parts can be purchased individually using codes below.
