Each cuff is manufactured from durable blue neoprene, providing a comfortable yet secure fit around the patient’s wrists or ankles. The cuffs incorporate a robust metal D-ring and slide assembly along with strong black hook and loop Velcro fastening, allowing for quick adjustment and secure application. A centrally positioned metal sash tongue provides a secure connection point between the cuff and tether assembly.

The included tether straps are constructed from heavy-duty 38mm black restraint webbing and feature adjustable lengths to accommodate a variety of clinical situations and attachment points. Each tether incorporates a protector buckle that securely connects to the cuff’s sash tongue, providing a reliable restraint system that can be quickly applied when required.

For enhanced safety, the system includes a Mechanical Release Key, allowing authorized personnel to rapidly disengage the protector buckle mechanism when immediate restraint removal is necessary.

Tether straps are designed to attach securely to approved anchor points on beds, trolleys, and stretchers. Once applied, the cuff is fastened around the patient’s wrist or ankle using the hook and loop closure, with the tether strap wrapped over the cuff and threaded through the D-ring and slide assembly for additional security. The sash tongue is then connected to the tether’s protector buckle, completing the restraint system.
