The Mercy Health Intensive Care Unit Bariatric Restraint Set is a modified version of the original Stryker Stretcher Strap Kit.

Made in conjunction with staff and security on in house visitations to provide a product that specifically suits their needs.

Altered to ensure rapid securing as well as release traditional tethers were modified to a Cam Buckle and measured to fit the width of a bariatric bed for a client’s comfort.

The kit is made of durable dark green neoprene with precision and product quality.

The wrist cuffs are wrapped around the wrist and secured using hook and loop Velcro. Tether straps are then wrapped around the cuff again and secured with 25mm webbing thread through the two “D” rings.

The Wrist cuff anchor is attached to the anchor point on the bed, stretcher or trolley and secured via the two Cam Buckle tether straps that have a sash tongue. The sash tongues are connected to tamper proof protector buckles on the anchor. The Cam Buckle allows a super-efficient fit and release system.

The Ankle cuff Anchor is also attached to the anchor points at the lower end of the bed and attached with two side release buckle / Cam Buckle tether straps tether straps.

Once the client is placed on the bed, trolley or stretcher the wrists are attached to the anchor.

The legs are then attached into the ankle cuffs the same way as the wrist cuffs and secured.

A bariatric Ankle Wrist bracelet set is also included in the complete kit.

All kits are contained in a grey Denier zip bag for fast use and easy storage.
