The Melbourne Health Mechanical Restraint Safety Device Set was designed in conjunction with staff on a simple quick release system that would meet their needs and requirements.
The kit was made with four modified wrist cuffs that have tamper proof protector buckles and a modified ankle immobilizer.
The key change to this set that is fast becoming a popular in many sites is the Cam Buckle Tether Strap. The Cam Buckle allows very swift attachment to anchor points on beds, trollies and stretchers alike. This system is also a swift release system with no fumbling and moving straps as opposed to some traditional tether straps.
Kit comes complete in a yellow Denier storage bag with a Mechanical key.
